Skoda website "progress"

Featured Replies

So I notice that the Skoda.co.uk website now defaults to a mobile version on my iPad/phone/etc.. Ok there's a full version link so no biggie. It doesn't work-takes you to the m.skoda.co.uk version each time!!! Argh. So now we can only view the frankly dreadful mobile version and there's no configurator or anything vaguely useful. Thanks VWGroup!

I was about to start a thread on this with the clever thread title of 'Skoda UK's Simply Unclever Mobile website'. I tried a variety of browsers including the default Safari on my iPad 2 and iPhone 4S and found, as you did, that it is impossible to visit the full site. So no access to Used Cars - which is what I wanted at the time - nor Finance, Fleet and more. As I normally use my iPad to access Skoda UK's website, this is a truly major step backwards in usefulness for me too.

Brilliant! KissMyAgent works a treat. But Skoda UK still need to sort out their website so that mobile users have the option to view the full site without being restricted in choice of browser, ie the Visit Full Site option needs to do what it says on the box.

On my phone I tick "desktop view" and it works :)

Works fine on my android phone, using chrome. Just flick it back to "classic" as it says on my browser.

The full site version of Briskoda works fine on my iPad and iPhone. I think that Skoda UK should sort their website so it does likewise - or am I being unreasonable? Perhaps ColinD could offer his expertise. :)
