I have a strange noise coming from the passanger side dash area. This is present under all conditions once the ignition is on. Based on replys to other postings it might be fixed by recalibration of the Climatronic, but I do not know which buttons to press, or under what conditions! The Climatronic controls are shown on page 90/91 of the Octavia II facelift owners manual.

Can anyone please help?

Ignition on engine off. Hold AC and max I believe until the lights start to flash.

With the ignition on but the engine off, hold down the ECON and the bottom left of the four oblong buttons for airflow.

That's the usual recalibration method

The controls are only as follows,

windscreen defrost

air to windscreen

air to head

air to footwell

recirc

rear window

AUTO

OFF

Blower speed

Dual

A/C

LH temp

RH temp

Please which of teh above should I use?
