Anyone had any similar experiences or fixes. The only way I can open boot is to double press on unlock on the fob. Thanks. Not essential but quite annoying.

Hold the boot release button down for a couple of seconds.

My vRS was like it and so is my Audi. Maybe a safety feature to prevent

accidental oppening from just a touch. Pretty sure even my Fiat does the same,

It's probably because unlike the doors the tailgate actually physically

pops open a little when the button is pressed so won't re-lock automatically

if unopened for 60 seconds like the main doors do.
