absolutely not, Jase. In fact quite the opposite. The more they drop in price, the more they are within the means of the Saxo/ Corsa types. One of the main reasons I'm looking at chopping my normal 1.9TDi in TBH.

And certainly not envious of the amount of work needed to keep vRS seats clean

To be honest I always just put it down to the more info the OP gives then the quicker / better chance of solving the issue they have

Never forget the time some lad my missus knows pulls up in front of everyone in his new car (pug 206 hdi) and thought it was ******* awesome because it had a turbo and was telling me about how quick it was because it had a turbo and because it had a FMIC it was 180bhp bla bla bla. ******* mug.

That might apply to things like the turbo, ASZ/BLT engines, and a few other minor problems, but as I said, the vRS shares so many components that it's really not necessary to mention what model you have in most cases. If you have a problem such as leaky window carriers, a washer jet nt functioning etc etc. IMO as soon as vRS is mentioned some people could even think 'oh, he's talking about a vRS, so that doesn't apply to my 1.4HTP/ 1.4MPi etc.

I agree some less than desirable people are now getting their hands on fabias. Is that going to make me sell up when I otherwise wouldn't?! Hell no! Its a frickin great car, fun, cheap to run for the performance, looks good, has a certain amount of charm & character.

I can't ever imagine what someone else does/doesn't do to their own car being a factor in me selling mine!
