What Engine Can I fit To My Felicia?

I have felicia with 1.3 and I wanna replace the engine .

 can any one tell me what engines can I fit directly in my Felicia without any mods .

I hope to tell about about any engine else ( 1.6 mpi ) .

Polo 1.4 16V AFH engine is a popular choice. See the thread here:

You will need some bits from a 1600 Felicia however.

do you now any thing about it ?

To the best of my knowledge there was never a production Skoda (as opposed to VW) 1600, but maybe someone else has more info.

skoda only used 1.6 aee as far as i am aware too

I did read somewhere about a prototype 100hp skoda engine but I think it was only ever just a concept/prototype.
