GT1749vb/vc (PD150 shaft PD170 compressor wheel) hybrid turbo to fit bolt on onto BXE, BKC, BJB (PD105) engines 180-190hp potential,

£400 delivered within the UK 6 months unlimited mileage warranty.

Got one fitted in my Octavia mk2 BXE without any other mods just decat and remap - 175bhp/399Nm well worth the money.

It should also fit BRU, BXJ, BXF, AVQ engines.

Max safe boost pressure 1.65bar

VNT may need some adjusting once the turbo has been fitted so please take some boost logs and make sure it's all good.

As always for mapping I recommend John aka faboka vrs aka Hidden-Power who also wrote nice VNT adjustment guide:

Don't know off the top of my head. BXE rings a bell though. I'll check tomorrow.

just have a look in your logbook it should be there I guess it will be BLS the turbo would be very similar but the compressor side outlet has a little bit different angle anyway I can get BLS hybrid in within 7-10 days if needed same as for pretty much any 1.9TDI engine

the usual £350 + delivery + paypal fee this is my standard price for majority of 1.9TDI hybrids

and what would you recommend I uprated to? A PD 130 hybrid? (remap on the cards, already RR'd at 126 no other mods)

I would go for the PD170 hybrid the price would be the same, even if you won't use its full potential it will be more reliable and you will have room for improvement in future not sure how much power are your injectors good for but as you can see my Octavia PD105 BXE with PD170 hybrid and no additional mods (power related) has now 175bhp and 399Nm after remap honestly I wouldn't hesitate even for a second to choose between PD130 and PD170 hybrid the choice is obvious

Would this be a good up grade to my standard one from my fabia vrs.

Its got a good remap on it.

But woundering what the gains are and how relilable these are compared to OEM parts?

what is your engine code exactly? the gain will very much depend on the supporting modes, the engine model etc. the reliability of GTB turbo is much better than the stock one obviously as it was design for 240 bhp cars it has the 3rd generation variable geometry veins, and bearings better spool etc. Just mind that it will require a good custom remap after it's fitted to get the max out of it

depends on how far are you going to go, have you got 5 or 6 speed gearbox there ? I've installed kevlar clutch with pressure plate from VW T5 but I was aiming for 250bhp which is still to be achieved I just need to get good injectors and finally fit GTB
