Nah, I like the door protectors, just think it makes it look less boxy.

If they were slimmer and colour coded then yes they would work better.......as it is they just look like a after thought....

'Door Protectors' are best when doing as the name suggests,  protecting the cars body work & the Paint.

& not colour coded with Paint seems to work best,

so that if while protecting the door the colour coding does not get chipped.

(or you would need Door Protector protectors.)

Sometimes Function rather than style works best IMO.

Our little Monte...

Mods are in the signature, but here are the main ones:

Rear interior courtesy light

Lowered on 35mm Eibachs.

H&R rear anti roll bar (25mm)

Spacers (10mm front, 15mm rear)

Super pro poly bushes all round (anti dive kit)

WRC mud flaps (Creation Motor Sport)

It might not be quick, but it sure does handle well now!

Where did you get this done? Id like my black monte carlo lowering but I dont know how low to go??

Cars looking great dude ...if i owned it the first thing i would do is to lower it. H+R 40mm lowering springs are the ones a lot of people use including myself.

Cheers mate, yeah I was thinking of lowering it but then it would void my warrenty? Plus how low would that drop it? Will make much of a difference?

I may be wrong here, but i dont think the eibach springs void your warranty.

It lowers it by using a slightly stiffer spring, that is 40mm shorter than the standard ones.

Itll make 40mm of difference (enough IMO) with a more sporty ride quality

I have installed 30mm Eibach on my Monte - I must said the quality of ride it's even better - not stiff at all, but when you need through the corner it's stiff enough (If would be possible I would go just a little bit stiffer). On the look it's not such a diffrence only to people which are always near my Fabia, because the Monte by its self it's 15mm lower than classic Fabia - so if you are buying some springs go with 40mm, If i would buy it now, i would defenitly bought 40mm Eibachs. :)

Once upon a time, eibachs used to be oem suppliers to the mk1 fabia sport trim... Not sure if they're still oem certified though.
