Recommended Posts

Ive just uploaded some mp3's from a CD to the Columbus HDD :)

Thanks Flamazine, I too thought it was SD card only :)

I haven't been able to do this. How do you physically do it?

I just made sure all the tracks I burnt to disc were in mp3 format

put disc in columbus

Go to the hdd and click on cd

Then in the options you have play or copy

Just copied it and renamed the file from copy of cd to whatever title you want

Easy, and no duplicate files like I get with using the memory card way :)

Thanks for your help. :)

Have now successfully copied mp3 files from CD-R to Columbus HDD.

FYI The disk I couldn't get to copy was a CD-RW

  • 3 weeks later...

Many Thanks for the .wpl playlist tip. Works a treat.

My process is now to use Playlist Creator:

http://www.oddgravity.de/

To make an m3u list, then convert it with:

http://proletsoft.freeservers.com/mmb/m3utoasx.html

Then go into the file with notepad to use find and replace to get rid of the drive letter and "...\".
