Felicia fun gearbox

Hello everybody yesterday my gear box started playing up looking for a gear box but was wondering can i use a golf or any other as they range in price stupidly and need it sorted by the 11/09/2014 as going to take felly on a 400 mile trip to i o w if not will have to go in Mrs pug which i don't want to do thank you all

Sadly, as far as I know, they're unique to the felicia. Although I'm told the 1.3/1.6/1.9d boxes are outwardly the same, just with different ratios.

Would the caddy Mk 2 pickup gearbox fit as they are pretty much identical
