Safety pushbutton not working

Recommended Posts

Hi All

I have skoda octavia 2003 elegance model. My car has a safety pushbutton on the door that deactivate power windows of the rear seats. Actually this button is not working but the rest of the button (all four power window, lock unlock button) on the same panel are all OK.

Is this something to the fuse ? and also if its fuse then how can i change it ?  please guide THanks !

Regards

Umair

Just checking - is the light on the middle button on? Are you checking using the rear switches? As the master switch on the drivers door will ALWAYS operate all windows - safety on or not!

I've had this issue previously on another VAG car, it's the button that fails, easily replacable - but you do have to replace the whole unit.
