51,529 – This will be going up as it is my main car. I travel about 250-300 miles per week currently although between the 19th of September and 30th of September the car will not be used.

New rear discs and pads @ 25k miles (previous owner)

New air con compressor and condenser @ 27k miles (previous owner)

New Purge Valve N80 @ 49,661 (14/08/14)

 

Issues:

I recently had what I thought was a few issues regarding the DSG – this has now been resolved by the main dealer by carrying out a reset on the DSG. The other issue where I could smell something like burning was actually a plastic bag that decided to melt itself on the exhaust – once found and removed no more funny smells.

No other issues on the car at all, she drives great and I am really sad that I have to let her go.

 

Expenditure during my ownership:

2 x Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta - 225/40 R18 92Y XL Tyres (Replacements for fronts) – 12/06/14

4 Wheel Alignment – 27/06/14

 

Exterior:

Couple of small stone chips expected for the age but no major scratches or marks.

Alloys in great condition, no curb marks. Both front and both rear tyres have 6mm of tread left.

Interior:

Great condition, always kept clean – no cracks or sagging on the leather.

The Columbus has been updated to the very latest version of maps recently (V11 or 8117 in Skoda Terms) – maps released June 2014.

Everything works, no error lights at all.

 

Fuel Economy:

I get between 280 to 320 miles on a tank and have only used Tesco 99 fuel in the car. My average mpg is between 27 and 29 on runs to work and 32-35 on long motorway runs.

 

 

 

 

Tax is £220 per year.

Price:

I am looking for £12,000 £11,750 ovno. I feel with the options and rarity of this particular model (still in great condition) this will be a bargain for someone.

I’d love for the car to stay in the Briskoda family so offering here first and if not sold by the time I get back from my holiday (1st October – see below) I will advertise elsewhere as well.

 

Viewings will be welcomed – and test drives with proof of insurance are welcome however I am going abroad from Thursday the 18th of September until Wednesday the 1st of October. During this time I will not be able to do any viewings etc but will pick up all messages when I get back. The car is based in Gravesend during the day (DA11) and in Chatham (ME5) after 6pm during the week – Weekends I am either at home (ME5) or at my parents (ME12).

As the car will be sold after the 1st of October the new tax disc rules will be affecting the sale - a lot of people are unclear on what the changes are etc so from what I can work out it is irrelevant that the car still has tax left as this automatically gets refunded to me and the buyer is expected to buy tax straight away.
