Skoda Octavia II Orion 15 inch wheels on Superb II

Has anyone tried to mount Orion 15 inch wheels from Skoda Octavia II to Superb II 1.9TDI?

Do they phisicaly fit or is the brake caliper on Superb II to big?

Why would you want to and I'd be surprised if they fit on the front.

They definitely won't fit on the front of the CR170 Superb or Octavia due to bigger disks. 15" wheels do fit on Octavia 1.9's as I ran them on mine.

 

There are two ways to check - find what diameter front disk (The rears are smaller in all cases) the Octavia II and Superb II use. If they're the same then there's a good chance the alloys will fit. Also check whether the Superb was ever specced from the factory with 15" wheels. If it was then it's likely any Skoda 15" wheel will fit.

 

I use the 16" version of these alloys for winter tyres on my Superb. They were for summer tyres on my Octavia...

Well, I did a test and they do not fit.

Also ordinary 15 inch steel wheels do not fit, although they did fit to Superb 2 with 1.6 TDI engine, MY2011.

It looks like 1.9TDI has bigger disks.
