Recommended Posts

ive drove my vrs today for the first time in about 3 weeks and noiced a noise when turning right.

Its a weird one no knocking no pulling or wandering etc it sounds like rubber like when you buy new tyres and your on a shiney surface they make the rubbery noise

its hard to explain :dull:

now the tyre pressures are fine the tyres are nearly new

i have noticed the noise when the car is traverling straight aswell but only slightly

car has kw coilovers low as will go

poly bushed arms

r32 anti roll bar with poly bushes

any help would be great

Wheel Bearing on the way out.... esp if it goes away when turning left?

Shows up the left hand side bearing goosed when its takes the pressure turning right.

my guess anyway from having it before...

Jack the wheel and give it a spin and listen for any grinding etc.. if it's quiet and there's no play in the wheel, it could be the CV joint.. have a look for any grease in and around the area, could be a split boot.
