Map sensor location?

Recommended Posts

No its a mk2 mate

The mk2 was launched in 2008 and as far as I'm aware has never had a 2.5 v6. The mk1 did get a facelift in 2006.

The GPS antenna is in the fin on the roof, to access it you need to remove the rear of the headlining. I believe that's the same on the mk1.

MAP sensor - manifold absolute pressure.  It's in the thick black tube that goes from the air filter to the manifold.  Usually part of the same assemble as the MAF (mass air flow) sensor.

Used on a turbo car to measure boost, and on NA & turbo cars to adjust for altitude.
