Don't forget guys clocks go back an hour at 2am. So an extra hour in bed or for those unfortunate to have work don't look a muppet and turn up an hour early.

I think you'll find that due to the curvature of the earth and the position of the sun to the moon, and it's cloudy, windy and raining they actually go back 59.87 minutes not an Hour

are you sure your note quoting last years figures as i distinctly remember that they change every year and the figures you have quoted are definitely last years

Wonderful; the start of long evenings by the woodburner with homemade stews, decent wines or bitters and chance to catch up on the years TV and films.

I love this time of year; glorious colours, morning mists on the hills, harvest Festival, clocks going back, harvest markets and apple fairs, Halloween, Bonfire night, Christmas Fairs in Leominster, Ludlow, Worcester, German markets in Birmingham, Christmas meet ups and parties, Wigilia/Christmas Eve, Christmas, everyone off work to socialise, New Year then our ace January where we keep money back and have a sales shopping spree, a kid-free romantic holiday and loads of meals out.

Love it!

I spend all year frantically chasing the weather trying to earn money on the dry days, now is the time to kick back and chill a bit  :sun:

I always forget the fact that it goes darker an hour earlier too. Great to be waking in the light for a change, not impressed with the night already drawing in at half three.

Although it is overcast and a dull day today, that won't be helping.

I set all the clocks back on Saturday evening around 6 pm. my wife didn't see me do it and when she went upstairs she looked at her watch and thought the bedroom clock was slow so put it at the current correct time, that didn't help in the morning.

Best regards to all
