Octavia MkII gas bonnet strut: driver side

I have a driver's side Superskoda gas bonnet strut from the recent group buy that I did not like fitted to my car, see: http://www.superskoda.com/Skoda/OCTAVIA-II/Octavia-II-04-12-power-hood-damper-system-KI-R-RIGHT-side-version

 

It seems that in some, but not all cases, the bonnet is lifted slightly when this is fitted, but it was in my case.

 

Note that one of the washers was split when I got it but it didn't affect fitting, which is easy, see: 

 

£20 collected from Newport South Wales, or add £5 for p&p.  I will add a picture later.
