EGR Delete Top Pipe

Recommended Posts

Im looking at fitting an EGR Delete, i have the Darkside EGR Delete pipe itself and the blanking plate, but i need to make the top pipe which goes from the EGR to the join for my FMIC pipework down by the Fuel Filter.

Anyone know of any off the shelf kits? just looking to make my life a little easier when fitting it instead of spec'ing pipe and bends myself (lazy i know!)

I'm pretty sure most just buy an 90 degree silicone pip and hack the end of the OEM pipe then jubilee clip one into the other

Before

Ignore the fact the strut brace changed colour i just grabbed the first ones google found me

although obviously the second car also has the standard plastic pipe replaced with a "Dovit" metal one

I think Allard also do a metal one

There was a guy on here years back cars vRS_Dovit or something similar who was making them (hence the "Dovit pipe")

became sought after when he moved on and stopped making them.

Allard still sell them

from this thread here

Pipe arrived today, that was next day delivery from Allard. Quality is excellent, will just be a case of seeing how it fits on the car.

The thing to look out for with that pipe is that it doesn't have a beaded edge. I know some using them haven't had a problem, but there is a chance they can pop off

Quite right, all of the Airtec FMIC pipes are beaded so its nice and sturdy
