Depends what 'Full' means, when you checked.

were you dipping a cold engine and seeing where it was on the dipstick,

& now dipping cold.

Using some oil is not an issue.

There is only 3.6 litres in, and a bit down the stick might not be much used.

the dipstick is hopeless if dipping warm, or hot.

??

How much is needed to get back to were it was after 500 miles is more important.

Driving style.  cold starts etc means that some will use some oil.

It does not mean there are problems.

Giving it stick is unlikely to have it using oil,

in fact they are less likely to with a bit of spirited driving..

Why not see how much oil you have used, by topping up?

*Do not overfill it.*

Has the car had its first Service / Oil & Filter Change,

or is it on Variable Servicing?

Maybe worth doing it Annually or at 9,400 miles (10,000)

rather than waiting for Flexable / Variable Servicing since it is not doing a high mileage.
