Cruise control installation South East

Yes that is the right kit.

The steering wheel needs to come off to change the stalks to cruise control ones.

Plug it in, and splice into a wire on the ecu (not as scary as it sounds)

Some of the plastics under the steering wheel need to come off to get access to the brake switch. It comes with instructions as well.

Adil - main dealers did mine. Big price differences though. Paid 120 I seem to recall in the end had quotes twice that. Can dig out paperwork if helpful. I'm in Kent.

That included the part.

Hey joncc sorry for hi jacking thread - I'm also interested in having this done and am also in Maidstone. Did you go to the main dealer in Maidstone to get this done? So you say it cost you £120, how log ago was this? Thanks!

Beadles wanted much more than Motorline in Gillingham. Having said that I fed back to Beadles service dude and - retrospectively - he said they would have matched it. Beadles won't charge you for a loan car typically - but Motorline will (£12 for the insurance I think). Got it done earlier in the year. Good luck. P.s. That included all parts.

Hi all

Having my cruise fitted and ran into an issue.

Seems there is a wire missing from the plug in this photo (screwdriver pointing it out).

Are we missing something, or is the wire elsewhere?

Yup the white signal wire moves about depending on age. It always ends up at the ECU though which is why for the many many many I have installed I go straight to the ECU. Plus that connection point is a known source of connection issues,
