i was bored so..

Recommended Posts

I nipped oitside and unscrewed my intake pipe from the filter box to see what my 007 diverter sounded like, i just moved it to one side so it wasnt connected and took it for a drive round the block

Good points - it amused me and gave me somethibg to do.

Bad points -

it sounded really crap

- turbo didnt sound any louder whuch was odd.

It made me feel a little bit sad inside.

Pulled on my drive way and sloted it back in

Conclusion. It was crap and dont waste money on a cai, thats a crap idea unless you can stop the crap tssssshhhhhh noise lol

You may now tha k me for my story.

So what pipe did you unplug. Trying to work out and visualize this. If you have STD airbox do you mean unscrewing maf. If so that is not a comparison to fitting a CAI and would run pants coz you are not supporting maf and air flow would be poor and all over the place .

Most folks fit a CAI coz they want that tssssh noise as well as better airflow.

Relax mate, i was just messin about, nothing to scientifix.

I was relaxed buddy :D

You did say "You may now tha k me for my story."  whatever that meant.. so I did :p

Then tbh from your Conclusion, was not clear that statement was messing about.

let's face it buddy unpluging  a MAF and pipe and leaving it loose maybe messing but to most is just daft thing to do. :notme:
