I thought I would start a thread dedicated to the red mk2 Fabia's out there. I quite often see a few (of different specs and modifications) so thought it would good to have all ideas in one thread.

Firstly

Model: Fabia vRS

Colour: Corrido Red

Standard equipment:

  • Cruise Control
  • Black Pack

Modifications:

  • Front and rear mudflaps
  • Painted exhaust tip in heat temp paint to give black tip effect
  • Silver internal door handles
  • Silver heater surrounds
  • Fabia Mats
  • Installed Aux cable under interior plastics to give neater finish
  • Sunglasses holder

Future Modifications:

  • Lower by 40mm
  • Possible black or cream roof
  • Possible black or cream coloured alloys
  • new badges
  • centre section of exhaust removed

Thanks for the comment. I think they just make the car seem a bit lighter inside rather than all black but don't know why they couldn't do a bit more chrome like the mk1s. For me the interior is the biggest let down to a fantastic car!!

Your car is from before they updated the steering wheel and Gear Stick is it not,?

I actually like the CAVE engine car & cave like simple interior without chromed plastic.

I am looking to update the steering wheel to the latest one but so expensive to do.

I have seen too many cars with the black wheels and the miles I do will always look dirty.

Mostly i seal the clean wheels & let them get dirty, and have a Matt look,  until they need to look tidy and shiny again.

I reckon the white alloys would look good on the red. Never seem them on one mind.

This is what i used to have never saw another in the same colour combo which was kinda nice

Then i joined the masses and traded it in for this

They were CREE ones but they didn't last. I've just bought a new set of LED ones should arrive next week and will pop them in at the weekend and report back.

This is mine:

Standard specification:

Engine

gearbox

Seats

7 wheels (4 on the ground, 1 in the boot, 1 on the engine and 1 in front of the drivers seat)

Heater

And a music playing device.

Modifications:

Some electrical tape on the grille:

Front and rear mudflaps.

And rear Briskoda number plate surround.

Not much, but at least it's red.

Future modifications, I've just bought an MDI kit off another member, so I'll give that a go. What's the worst that can happen?

Edit, forgot the mudflaps, sorry.
