Hi guys, my name is Stefan and this is my project regarding my Superb.

Specs:

2011

2.0 TSI

Beige leather

Navi

DSG

Heated seats everywhere

Photovoltaic sunroof

Shift paddles

...

there are more but these are the most interesting I guess. It might also have an RS bodykit? The color seems that way, plus dual exhaust. In any case, I got some pictures of it taken 2 months ago, now it's freezing outside and the car is in no shape to present it.

My goal for this car is to make it a stage 2+. I have a couple of friends with 400+ HP on their hot hatches, but imho this is not a hot hatch nor a S63 AMG so it might look weird. I don't know yet.

I decided to improve the power 2 weeks ago and I'm more than happy with my decision.

For starters I did a Revo stage 1 remap and it boosted to car to 270 HP (give or take ofc). I run on 98-99 RON fuel.

I changed the spark plugs and put better ones. This week one of the ignition coils fried and I changed it with a BOSCH one(I think they come standard with the car anyway), but I will buy a pack of Audi S8 coils so when next time one fails I will change them all.

Next on the to do list is a new exhaust system(February probably), a new intercooler, stage 2 software, air intake and after all of this, if I really really feel like I need more, I will change the turbo with a k04. That should land me around 350 HP, which is more than enough. I am also considering buying front BREMBO kit in the blue color.

Appearance wise I want to buy new 18 or 19 inch wheels. I saw a picture on the internet with a Superb on 19 inches and it looked nice.

1zvefra.jpg I also want to change the DRL with LED bulbs.

Here's the car.

If anyone has ideas about what I can change or can recommend stuff like no error LEDs or stuff, please do tell me. I like suggestions.

Have a good day people. Kind regards.

Stefan, your project sounds great. You have a lot of options open to you with that engine.

For LEDs, I'd recommend the following...

For the front sidelights, to match the xenons: http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=130976781942

For the interior lights, under-door courtesy lights, and the under-mirror lights: http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=291223713566

And for the DRLs: http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=271112451447

Thanks for the replies guys.

Jake the first link sends me to back up lights. If they fit the side lights also, sounds great.

Chunk, yep the stage 1 sends you very high. I have a friend with a golf gti and he has 450 hp with stage 3+.

The engine has tons of potential apparently, money is the only issue here ^^

In January I plan to change the oil and put Motul 300V and change the exhaust. And considering it's cold here, I might raise it to stage 2 and in March, April buy an intercooler because the engine can't get as hot like in the summer consider it's 0 to -5 degs here.

Also, piece by piece I want to change the bushes with powerflex ones because I kinda cut corners aggressively.

I'll add some more photos and maybe a video. The car is at the wash now, so I'll get some while she's pretty.

Cheers guys.

Drive safe and happy.

New update:

Last night I fried another coil :))

I'm starting to get a hang of what NOT to do to stop frying them.

Step 1: if it's raining, let the engine warm properly so the condensation around it goes away.

Step 2: even if it's not raining, let the engine warm properly

Step 3: until the oil temperature is not at least at 75 degrees, do not hit the pedal to the floor because you may toast something again!

Step 4: buy better coils

So in conclusion a friend of mine gave a coil to replace the fried one and I'm going to be more careful now. I will buy a set of R8 coils soon to replace these ones. I heard they are slightly better and my friends haven't had problems with them for 2 years. I know it's not such a huge improvement, but I can't afford the Okada at the moment.

Hey peeps.

Long time no talk. I gave the skoda to my father and i bought a mustang ecoboost :D

Amazing car, got exhaust, tune, suspension and spacers. Buuuut I'm selling it because it's costing too much for my paycheck(credit, house, mods etc).

So I was thinking of buying an S4 or Golf R, but why spend 20k on another car when I have the perfect thing at home. I know Skoda is no Audi or Mustang, but frankly there are lots of Audis and recently lots of stangs... But where do you see a 400 hp Superb with racing accents?

So that's my plan. I aim for a K04 hybrid 400 hp, gonna get coils, Rota Grid wheels, remake the interior(family ruined the leather), LSD, some lighting, sports steering wheel, no chrome, carbon fiber interior pieces, sway bars and I'm considering adding a big a** wing to the back, JDM style.

Hope I'll sell the car fast and get on with the project.

I really look forward to this.

Keep in touch.

Bye.
