I am selling my DAB Columbus PN: 3T0035686H. It is HW : H23, with SW: 6270. 40GB HDD. Manufacture date 10/03/2014

It has V11 Western Europe Maps on the HDD, I also have the Eastern Europe maps on DVD as well.

It is a very nice unit, in excellent condition and has performed very well in my Octavia. It is much quicker to respond to commands and calcuate routes than the older units. The DAB reception is very good.

Unit will come with the original radio keycard.

Price is £550. These are going for £700+ on eBay.

Postage to the UK: £15

Photos see below.

Will you be selling the Sharkfin? Or can you point me in the direction of where to get one? I have a heated front windscreen so can't use a after market windscreen mounted one.

Thanks

I may sell it, but it would be one of the last things to come off the car. I originally got it from https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&ei=zAeXVJ-lEIn-UJDzgKAL&url=http://www.cars-equipment.com/www/en/shop/skoda/oem-1k0035501j-original-skoda-roof-shark/&ved=0CCoQFjAE&usg=AFQjCNFTPuCJAfrditoeycrRmxhS69pkDg&sig2=Ek38O39_pJgCGIHM64Nxzg

Try Cars Equipment for the shark fin. That's the best price I got (excluding delivery).

The one in the above link has a Webasto connector which you almost certainly won't need. They do one with just DAB, FM, GPS & GSM as that is what I bought.

Ok thanks. Just a couple more questions if I may

I know I'll need vcds (which I don't have) to sort out the airbag light but do I need it for anything else.

How easy is it to feed the new shark fin aerial cables through to the unit when I get one. I have a Superb estate.

It is reasonably easy to route the extra cables to the shark fin, up through the A pillar and the headlining.

The aerial is fitted using a 22mm nut. When refitting the new one it helps having a friend to hold it straight when you do the nut up, just be careful no to over tighten it.

I think the airbag light can be avoided if you disconnect the battery when fitting. The light comes on if you disconnect the airbag switch with the battery connected.

Ok thanks, can I have a think.

After having a quick look I`m a bit concerned that I won`t be able to feed the cables through the head lining. From my inexperienced eye it looks quite difficult.

Also, I was hoping to sell on my own Columbus but I`ve realised I don`t have the keycard for it so I`m guessing its useless to anybody else
