Photo's to be attached (currently dirty; still on car - until 23/01/15)

Specification:

- 18 x 7.5 ET51

- 4 Goodyear Eagle F1's - done about 600 miles.

- Tyres are 235/40/18 - Not the standard size fitted; they were put on after an operation to 'soften' the ride on my car temporarily (cheaper than putting standard springs on).

Condition:

- Refurbished in gloss black by The Wheel Specialist - Full tyre off refurbishment and powder coated.

- No kerb marks at all.

Reason for Sale:

- New set of Audi wheels on their way.

Price:

£475

Should add I'd rather not send these due to weight and risk of damage.

I am heading to Manchester soon (end of January) so could arrange to travel with wheels along that route if people want to meet up.

Hi mate,

I've had a few PM's on this - probably a good idea to update.

The wheels are off the car Tuesday night. I'll clean them up on Wednesday and get inside and front face photos taken and posted.

I might be interested in these but I wouldn't want the tyres really and would like to see photos. I'm in Huddersfield so not far away from your planned trip.

What price could you do them at without the tyres please?

Thanks,

Dan

Thank-you for all of the responses; I appreciate the advice. :)

The Neptunes are coming off this evening so will take home; clean and post pictures.

Regarding the price of the wheels...................I will need to check how much they are online; to get a guidance. I priced them cheaply with tyres as they were non-standard fitment. If it's just the wheels wanted I shall review the price and update.

Regards,

Stu

UPDATE

Wheels are now off the car. They are covered in salt currently.

Unfortunately it was too dark and cold to clean and take photos; doubt I'll have any daylight hours now until Saturday morning. Please bear with me until Saturday 24th to get the promised photos up for everyone to see.

Mods - If this is too long to go without pictures; please feel free to remove thread and I can re-start a new one with the required photos on Saturday.

BTW I run 235/40/18 Audi 5 spoke for my winter set up and have no problems with the tyres. No clearance, catching or rubbing what so ever and my car is lowered.

Thank-you for the confirmation, it's good to hear someone else running the same set-up without any issues; my car is also lowered on Bilstein B8 dampers and -50mm H&R springs.

Should also mention my new wheels are 18 x 8 ET43! Opposed to the 18 x 7.5 ET51 Neptunes.

This means my new wheels sit out approximately 20mm more than the Neptunes did and there are no clearance issues with 225 tyres.

Thank-you for the advice on how to upload; hopefully this works.

I have had one person confirm they will have these if the photo's show the wheels as described; I shall offer them first shout on the wheels. If they decline I shall update again.

The wheels will all be cleaned; polished (some wash marring present - no different to a cars paint) and sealed tomorrow with further photo's to show all four.

I have spotted an imperfection on the inside of the wheel when washing it today (the only wheel to have this on the inside). I have taken a photo up close of it. There is no corrosion and the paint is unbroken; suggesting it may be contamination under the paint. Again; hasn't affected the paint quality.

Thanks for being patient.
