Rotating rear washer

My rear washer has just started rotating. The jet of water starts to follow the wiper then it rotates completely and squirts straight down over the number plate.

I had this problem with an A6 Avant and had to buy a rear motor repair kit to fix it (cost about £45).

Having looked around for one of these for the Yeti I can't seem to find one anywhere. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Any advice would be appreciated.

The washer jet itself is a push fit into the housing, but it has either rounded off the "flats" on it that engage with the housing, or (I hope not) the jet has broken inside the housing so the bit furthest in is still keyed and turning with the motor shaft, but the visible bit is now just loose.

The jet is available from Skoda for a couple of quid. Don't get a Roomster one - they are different I'm told.

Once you hinge up the cover over the wiper retaining nut, the jet just pulls straight out (don't twist it as you remove it, just pull it straight towards you). BUT, if it's broken and has left behind the bit that engages with the housing you've got a problem unless you can very carefully flick it out with a pin or similar. Otherwise, as you fear, it's a new motor assembly, and I suspect it's a darn sight more than £45.

I've had the same problem on two Passats and used the repair kit....and I noticed the other day the Yeti nozzle is moving a tiny bit too :(

You'd think they'd have sorted the design by now.
