Got my RS it's 40k service there. Did the job, no problems. Nothing amazing in the customer service. But the car seems to have been properly serviced. Will go back there for next service.

Bought my Fabia vRS from this garage and had the best buying experience possible. The sales man was both knowledgeable and polite. I didn't feel that the staff were attempting to pressure me or persuade me in any way, nothing was too much effort for them. The car was ready on time and was prepared to a very high standard. I also got a very good deal both on my new vehicle and on my trade in.

Very good garage – give it a go !

Got a Felicia from them 3 years ago.

Was the only pre-facelift one on the forecourt and Mr Newsome gave me plenty of his time.

Have been back for services, MOT etc and always a good service, never a sense of "Oh it's just an old Felicia".

Will buy my Fabia Vrs from them when I win the lottery!

Bought my 04 Fabia vRS from there. Was very impressed at the lack of sales pressure. Chap called Darren took me and the missus out in the car and then let me have a go and simply let the car do the talking. Gave me a good trade in for my old car too.

Glyn (the manager) went through the usual sales bumf but only cos he had to. Easygoing bunch....no pressure, good service. Excellent.

Car was prepared to a high standard and on time. Very flexible with deposits etc.

I just hope FR Pulleyns in York are as nice after my warranty work next week......

The buying experience got off to a rocky start due to the casual rudeness of the salesman. A lovely car however. Servicing has been beset by poor standards on their part which they seem unwilling to comment on. It cost me over £300 to get the interior light fixed because, as they admitted at the time they were not aware of the generic problem with the pollen filter leaking water. added to that I had my alloy wheels damaged whilst in service and was rewarded with a quick rub and a bit of spray paint. No apology, I felt that my complaint was regarded as frivolous.

I am not impressed to say the least.

Had my first service done here as the price quoted was the cheapest. I opted to have the brake fluid changed at a reduced cost. All seemed fine, except every wheel had greasy hand marks on it! Another problem was that I was not asked to bring my drivers license with me when collecting the curtesy car, however, they let me have one, as long as I produced said license when I dropped the car off. Bit late then I thought!

Said they would ring me back within 5 minutes as parts was busy, waited 15 minutes no call back, so I drove there, 12 miles, took me 30 minutes in Friday traffic as I was a in rush for the parts, lucky for me they had the parts in.. Then 5 minutes on the way home they rang me back.

So it took them around 1 hour to ring me back, long 5 minutes in my book.

But other than that, good service once I was in the dealers, and good that had the bits in.

Preloaded deal with gap and lifeshine offered 4800 for trade in initial until he spoke to manager

Phoned us an hour later saying 5000 no problem in the 10-12 weeks for factory order

I phoned following day for quote on paper and was told now going to be 4800 for trade in

We got our Yeti from Farmers, again no pushy sales patter, just honest answers to my qustions ( my first 4x4 /common rail diesel so there were a few ) took her back for a noise from the passenger side, could not see any thing myself, took an hour ( free coffee provided!!!) for them to find the fault, but only charged for half hours labour, as it was well hidden stone caught up inside the brakes, even gave me the stone,a polished many faceted little rock......

This dealership had my vehicle in for a full day and did nothing with it. I booked it in with a noise from the lower part of the widscreen on the passenger side when at speed. A buzzing related to a loose or poorly fitted trim.

When the vehicle was returned I was told it was the wind deflectors on the windows that were making the noise. These were fitted a few days ago yet the noise has been there for over a week. Strange!

When quizzing the service guy (Paul) further, he admitted the "technician" didnt even look at the trim I mentioned. YET! Later in a conversation from their customer service team she advised the "technician" said the trim was flush with no issues.

Who was lying? We will never know but if the "technician" thinks that flush is a 2mm gap then he needs sacking on the spot. The drivers side is totally flush and solid yet the passenger side has a 2mm gap and is loose.

SkodaUK yet again do not seem interested. Ian Watson is such an arogant *%^$ard that you just want to punch him.

Do not use Sandicliffe for work as their standards are far from acceptable.

Brought a Mk1 Fabia vRS from Sandicliffe Oct 2014,

Since then I've been plagued with calls from them reminding me that it needs servicing (No it doesn't - I've already serviced it three times since purchase, and it's due again at Xmas as I've done 39.5k since purchase) and it needed an MOT (Organised that myself)

Never had a call after I purchased it to see if I was happy with the car (I was, and still am) - Would have thought that was basic customer service.

They won't take no for an answer. No matter how many times I ask them to desist from making calls to me, they just keep calling.....

Possibly first and last time I ever go to a main dealer.

Ordered a new Fabia 1.0 TSI 110 in mid-June. The staff were courteous and knowledgeable, if perhaps a bit slow to return calls - but always made time to answer all questions to a satisfying level. Ended up with the deal that I wanted, so everyone's happy.

Currently estimated to take delivery of the vehicle in mid-August / early-September (it's a factory build). I've already had a couple of calls to update me on the status, and I assume this will continue until delivery.

The dealership itself was clean, spacious and well-presented. A word of warning: parking is difficult due to the proximity of Mansfield Road! You may end up parking further up a residential street.

I'll update this review if anything changes.

Went to the dealership today for the pre-delivery paperwork (new registration, finance documentation and so on). Appointment was booked for 15:00, didn't sit down with the salesman until around 15:15 - but was offered a coffee in the meantime.

It then took around an hour to get through the paperwork - part exchange valuation, new registration, finance agreement and sorting out the delivery details. Despite informing the dealership of a change in bank details for the Direct Debit over a month in advance, this wasn't taken into account on the final paperwork - this alone caused a 20 minute delay whilst new agreements and mandates were drawn up. It's not an exaggeration to say that I almost walked away from the whole deal, despite the new car being on the forecourt awaiting a PDI.

Everything was sorted out in the end, and I'm due to collect the Fabia on Friday (01/09/17) evening. Hopefully the handover process will be smoother than everything else so far!
