Used these guys twice for ordering parts, with no problems at all.
Also when I had a cable that had come loose in the engine bay that I wasnt sure of it's original location, the guys said pop round and they will have a look at the car there and then.

Arrived and the guy sorted it out in a couple of minutes, wouldn't even hear of taking a couple of quid for a pint either.

Top class so far.

I use these for parts and service, best garage I've used so far.  Its a bit in the middle of nowhere (which is usefull as I work in the middle of nowhere!), but they know their stuff and are helpfull and polite, unlike the garage where I bought the car from ;-)

Awesome,friendly service.

I bought my Fabia VRS from these guys and they matched the price that I found on the internet.

Nothing is too much trouble.

In-laws, who live in Criccieth have had consistent problems with Pant Waen who have been unable to resolve issues with door locks / central locking etc for a considerable period of time. They have now given up with them and now put their Octy 1 TDi in for servicing and rectification of faults at Volkline in Canterbury (Independent) whenever they come to visit.

I bought a Fabaia 3 Automatic off Gwynn, had terrific service, car was ordered back in early december and took delivery March 1, was kept informed  to what was happening all along the way. Good handover and a great car, would not hesitate to buy another car from Pant Waen if required, a great deal at a great price.

bought a Octavia VRS back in september excellent service so far, small issue with rusty brakes which was dealt with f.o.c
I recently purchased an MFD3 from VRS Stu and aproached them to fit it, they willingly did it for their hourly labour rate (which is cheaper than else where round here) I advised it should only be around 20mins so they said they'd do it while I wait if I came in first thing.
It turned out that the unit was in Czech and despite all their courtesy cars being out they offered me one of the cars that was for sale while they sorted it out
Excellent service and good deal on purchase would deffinately reccomend

A truly excellent " family garage " which I have used for servicing and sales over the past 5 years .

They are reasonable on costs and quality of service is awesome .

Our other car is a Mercedes - words cannot describe the repeated shambolic servicing of a good car at a local dealership . The experiences run parallel with  how we all try to avoid going to hospital now for fear of  contracting MRSA .

Avoid at all costs for servicing!

I have taken my Octavia VRS in several times over the past year, and never received good service. When I took it in with front-end wobble under braking, the mechanics didn't even bother taking the wheels off, and over the course of 3 visits about the same problem failed to notice excessive tyre wear on the wheels they were dealing with.

Jane, the service manager, was abrupt and refused to even admit fault when they installed a non-genuine part after I asked for the genuine one, saying it must have been my fault because she doesn't make mistakes!

Generally poor service, they show a complete lack of knowledge about car faults and customer relations. In the end I stripped the front end down myself, and the cause was warped brake discs caused by a sticky caliper - a diagnosis I even suggested on my first visit. They seem more eager to take your money than fix the problem.

I live in the area, and have now met two other people who warned me away from Pant Waen, both VRS owners.

BEWARE!!

'knowlegable chap called Darren'... Really, when I said to him that I bought my car (from Pant Waen) I did so with 3 years free servicing, the reply was "we don't do things like that" :wonder: !

I have over the years purchased 6 cars from pant waun garage, never had any problems with servicing or customer care if you go anywhere waving a stick you are liable to get a wack back! :giggle:,YES I agree that since the change of franchise not ownership is different  since John ferrarase (not sure of the spelling but sounds the same )has retired with his lovely wife nora left the garage I could be better a lot better but to be honest gwyn and steve seem to be doing fine selling cars as if the was no tommorrow,so this must be telling you that they are doing something right?,bought my superb there last year no problems and part-ex for a fabia god knows when it will arrive!,the mechanics seem to know what they are doing but to be honest years ago they had 2 mechanics there one sadlly died very young and the other left to set up an alternative mechanic and he is excellent,as soon as the car goes out of warranty I will return to this fellow as in my opinion he is way above the rest! :giggle:

I must add to my last comment. The owner Glyn Griffiths was more than helpful and a gentleman, after i complained about the service manager, and the technician Nigel was "spot on". It just takes one individual to leave a "bitter taste", in someones mouth and i did have to bite my lip.
I will be using Pant Waen again, but i won't be dealing with one individual.

I used Pant Waen for our Yeti, and had an excellent trade in and price on both from Gwynn Griffith. He also fitted all the extras for no charge, and threw in free mats and mudflaps. I have found all the staff very helpful, particularly Gwynn(the owner), and will definitely use them in future.

I have taken my Octavia back to Pant Waen for 8 years and had excellent service from them. The only time I had a complaint it was dealt with in a very professional manner by Glyn who took my comments on board.

I have dealt with Nigel many times and he is an excellent technician. I hope he is still there (post #16).

I am looking to buy my next car from them when I am ready to change my Octavia.
