They have an Octavia RS there for a while (over 3 months) - 2002 but he wants nearly €17k for it,

and is giving crap deals on trade ins.

Got mine privately for 2 grand less,

and will make another 2 grand extra when I sell my old car.

Must say they weren't very helpful.

Jerry wasn't very interested in the vRS at all. I brought mine down when it was less than a month old to show them and install their dealer link. Every other Skoda garage I've been to have had to bring window-wipes to clean all the paw marks from the car...

I've had no other dealings with them, so I won't comment on them.

When I was looking for a cash deal on the Superb, he was looking for oer €1,000 more than Eamon Tarrant:eek: , needless to say, E.T. got the sale;)

Recently bought the wife a tdi octavia and was so impressed i thought about getting vrstdi instead of my GTTDI Golf,air bag management light came on recently in octavia and a friend recommended me to Jerry Collins Motors soley based on there new service manager

Landed down early one morning,told him my problem,within minutes the car was in the garage and diagnosed,airbag wires under seat needed to be replaced,he told me they couldnt fit the job in that day but could do it the following week and a courtesy car would be provided if needed be,no charge for the diagnostics.Landed the following week car was repaired within a hour and a very resonable price charged,told him of my interest in a atdi vrs and he told me all about them a even suggested this site to get all info i need,now i dunno about sales or parts but there service is top notch

What a lovely place this was to buy a car from and re-visit from time to time. Not like the usual car dealership ... just decent country people. How sad that you are no longer operating. I have 381,000 kms on that Octavia you sold me in 2007. Thank you very much for your service.

Yes. I love this old style Irish salesmanship. This kind of witty back and forth negotiation is very rare nowadays. If you want your slick Harry or this old way is our own preference ...they just have different ways of selling cars.
