Hi all

I am wondering if anyone ever tried to replace a speedo dial, meaning only the sheet with numbers on? I have to change ours from kmh to mph to register our left wheel drive octavia 1.9 tdi elegance here. I have found a few companies that sell new dials but these require removing the original first plus these are not completely identical (original has 3D effect to it, replacement is flat).

I am now thinking to get a second hand speedo and just swap the dials. Changing the whole speedo is out of the question as it is extremely hard to get the right one (probably elegance thing) and then it needs to be programed and all...

Any tips or links would be very appreciated.
