Hi everyone! I have just taken ownership of my first skoda!

It is a 2004 1.2 htp classic 5 door in blue. 1 lady owner from new, 111,000 miles, full MOT. needs a bit of tlc especially inside!

is seriously overdue a major service. last inspection 1 service at 85,000.

wondered what the spanner on the dash was for!

Any one offer any personal experiences with these cars? weak spots etc?

Welcome to the forum. Are you going to have a crack at that servicing yourself? Its a great way to get to know a new car.

Just the same as you plymvrs. I have a Skoda Fabia 1.2 HTP 64bhp 2006 and the inside isn't great, The dogs have had a rave in it! Well I think the last owner mistreated my car put it like that.

I would try a service by yourself. I will be. It's great to get to know your car and see the mechanics that move you along the road. However if you don't have time and have a lot of work to do etc. I guess it is best to do it by a garage.

My car was last serviced in 2010!

Hope you enjoy driving, Welcome to the Forum. I have only been on here for a week or so but I have had a lot of help from people, So I would suggest stick around!
