The car is just over 3 years old with 30,000 miles on it. The CRB is making an expensive noise!

Has anyone had one fail. Never had this before in any of my cars. I have an extended warranty with the car but I bet it won't cover this! It is booked in for a service on Monday. I was due to be towing with it tomorrow but Skoda Assist advised against it after hearing the noise.
