Am I a moron?

Recommended Posts

I have a 2007 black magic VRS. It needs some TLC.

However, thoughts are turning to upgrades too and since I'm a massive Motorsport fan I'm thinking about making a BTCC inspired VRS.

I'm thinking:

Lower

Team dynamics multi spoke wheels (or similar, probably black)

Focus RS vents

Splitter

MASSIVE spoiler.

Now the non moronic Chav side of me thinks that this is a stupid idea and I'll look ridiculous.

Convince me either way.

That's great Harry.

What's the specs on the wheels/suspension?

Mine is a diesel - it's mapped to somewhere around 200bhp but it will never have the go to match the pseudo race car looks I'm considering.

Complimented with 340bhp with all the toys plus a dual exit exhaust with 6'x4' oval tailpipes (like an RS4) that's 91dB on tickover. Chavtastic but I love it.

6 foot by 4 foot tail pipes? Bucket tastic!!!

If it floats your boat should you really care what anyone else thinks?

No, just no.

The Octy VRS never featured in the BTCC did it?

Yours is diesel - in general I believe this fuel is for tractors, HGVs and motorway mile munching cars, not sports/race cars or convertibles.

It would make it very difficult to sell if/when the time comes and there are better starting points for a touring car replica than the octy.
