Skoda Fabia VRS SE (2007) - No. 847

It's been an awesome car, fast and very cheap to run (easily 60 mpg on a run) I've had this about a year now, but it's been mainly used by the other half. It's starting to prove a bit small with all the baby gear we lug around, and with no 2 in planning we are going to start looking for a 7 seater :(

-128k miles

-Full service history (mostly main dealer skoda and specialist - awesome gti)

Service book is stamped and there is a folder FULL of receipts for work done, including wear and tear items such as mounts and suspension components being changed (bushes etc) Clearly has been looked after during its lifetime.

Last serviced at 121k miles @ awesome gti

-Cambelt and water pump changed at 113k miles (2013)

-MOT June 2016

-4 previous owners

-All the usual SE refinements, including cruise control, full leather interior etc

-AC regassed last summer. Still ice cold now.

-new genuine lower boost pipe fitted a few months ago after the old one blew off (usual worn lugs issue) - this has been the only "problem" I've had in my ownership. Pipe should be good for at least another 100k now.

-New vatara battery fitted last winter. Old one was starting to struggle in the cold weather. 4 year warrenty on this.

Mods:

-Awesome GTi remap with printout (172bhp)

-Full BCS Stainless exhaust system

-FK High sport Coilovers

-Whiteline rear ARB bar

-Alpine double din headunit. Has front mount usb socket, bluetooth, CD, AUX in, and handsfree kit with external mic already wired up.

-Colour coded rear parking sensors

This was during my trip back from devon last month (400 mile round trip) - mixture of motorway and A roads. Wasn't trying particularly hard and had a good blast down some of the back roads.......

Car is in good condition, but is not immaculate - a few stone chips etc. There is NO laquer peel on the rear spoiler. Rear doors have been sealed properly so no leaks. mechanically it is sound and has never let me down other than the boost pipe popping off.

Alloys are in fairly good order with minor kerbing and all have a decent amount of tread on.

The ride with the coilovers is quite firm, but its not excessive (in my opinion anyway) I do also have for sale (separatly) a set of ap springs and shocks which still lower the car down from the comedy factory height, but provide a more comfy ride. These have only done 5k.

Would rather a cash sale - Only part ex's I would consider would be something MPV like with more seats. Honda FRV, or something like a VW touran. No rush to sell, and I already have another car (saab estate) to get us by when this does sell.

Any questions please feel free to ask.

I know. I had a look on ebay and people are asking 6k + (although with lower miles) Whether they are selling or not is another story of course, but I think this is priced pretty keenly especially given the mods.

Great, went for the 2.0cr dsg so doesn't feel much slower than the vRS did!

Handles really well, basically a fat golf.

New one out early next year however so make sure you get a good deal.
