Lads at DTUK fitted this to my octavia January this year,I took the car up to their shop and was able to try before buying.

it made a canny difference. On pulling and mpg.

I've taken it off when car went for service and refitted myself no problem.

Original box and receipt from DTUK included, £200 posted anyone?

What is the reason for you selling it? (if you don't mind me asking)

Don't mind at all.

I'm selling the car, so the box is no longer needed.

Cheers.

Done some searching and the Mk3 I think has the newer EA288 common rail which is slightly different to mine, gonna contact DTUK and see if they would be happy to update the software / confirm it'll work with my similar engine if I take this off your hands.

I'm defo interested in this.

Not from me I'm afraid. Tried to contact dtuk and they didn't reply to my mail about reprogramming. They have a thing on their faq that they won't do that for second hand units.

Would be more interested if you could get it set up for the vrs though.

I also spoke to DTUK as well, they quoted £150 to re-programme it for a VRS and £50 for the loom, plus no warranty or free software updates, so for that it put me off slightly, hopefully someone with a 1.6 TDI will need one soon!

Mine took a while to sell for my old Monte, I'm sure it will go in the end!

I can get it re programmed for a vrs, they say £50 plus vat.

If no good it looks like it's £360 down the drain.

Also, just to confirm. The loom is the same for mk3 vrs, likewise Mk7 golf etc

So it's only the reprogramming if it needs it.

I'm happy for anyone to test drive it on their car before committing
