Engine fault light followed by Service spanner the AdBlue warning

I have a Yeti with less than 700Km (430 Miles)

An orange engine light came on, called Skoda Service, they came out and cancelled the light.

Within 36 hours this was followed by an orange spanner

Then an AdBlue warning light.

Brought it to the garage eventually the fault was diagnosed and the car is in the garage a week waiting on parts.

Has anyone experienced similar faults on a new Yeti? This one was only built at end of July.

Skoda assistance were very prompt and supportive.

As were the garage.

This is my 1st Skoda and somewhat concerned for this to occur on a new car.

Welcome to Briskoda.

You seem to have the dubious honour of the first fault with Adblue.

Mine was built just before yours and is running beautifully ( now on 1200miles.)

It's good to note you've been treated well.

What fault did they diagnose?

Did you get a decent courtesy car?

Welcome to the forum.

It would be very useful if you could say,

'What was diagnosed, what this was caused by,

ie ECU, Software, Loom, Connector, sensors,

so what the parts are required to fix the fault is'.

You need to consider rejecting the car

Perhaps "you need to consider that you might have to end up rejecting the car" - from what we've been told, the dealer has only just started the first attempt to fix it.  Sure they're allowed at least one go before you can legitimately reject the vehicle?

That said, definitely good advice to keep a record of everything that happens/is said and when, just in case it does come to that.
