What are the widest OEM wheels that can fit on a mk1 fabia

Hi guys, just need a bit of help.

I don't really know much about wheels, never been my thing and all the offset, ET numbers (is that offset!?) and other stuff. But I was wondering if anyone had fitted wider OEM alloys and tyres to a mk1 fabia, if so which ones.

Thanks

Stephen

OEM wheels, so Skoda or would you count VAG?

If so for OEM wheels 7.5-8" wide would be about the max from the 5x100 wheels that are available. Usually around ET35. Only exception would may be something like TT quattro sport wheels, always wondered what they would look like.

I have 7.5J dailies (TT comps) and 8J track wheels (OZ superleggera) - Both fit and work fine with 215/40 R17 tyres and no spacers or anything else.  Think both have normal offsets of around ET35.
