Hi,

I have a fabia 1.2 HTP(Petrol) 2011, this shares the same engine as the polo 1.2 back here, it has about 75bhp and thought of adding in few performance mods, i have contacted a local tuner back here and this is what i plan to get done.

1) Airfilter - I have replaced it with K&N stock

2) Exhaust manifold, exhaust pipe - SS(Stainless steel), remove the Catcon and have the rest in place as it is(No sound mods)

3) Changes in ECU as per the new settings(Errors from catcon, O2 sensors etc)

Can anyone direct me to blogs/forums where this has been done so that i can take in few tips and if possible any maps or share their opinions/suggestions, share best practices

Thanks

San

Throwing money at a 1.2 naturally aspirated engine isnt going to be cost effective or get you much more power. There really isnt a great lot you can do with them.

The HTP is a great little engine for what it is... but if you want more power, you're better off getting something more powerful out of the box
