I've got one's just like these - i can't be sure which ones exactly are the right ones for our car, but there's loads on ebay and hopefully someone will be able to confirm which ones exactly they are!

Aesthetically, i quite like them, and everyone who see's them assumes they're standard.. Practically they're alright - once or twice knocked my knee on them when getting in the car if the steering wheel is at an angle. Quality, they're very light and cheap feeling when you first get them but they stick very well to the paddles and feel ok when using them when driving. Just IMO :)

I bought some from a member on here. Every thing that Millsy above says is 100%. I've knocked my knee loads of times, they feel a bit cheap but don't look it. They're great and a lot better than the standard paddles!

There are 2 types of the standard paddles on mk2 Twinchargers, earlier and later so you need the correct fitment when buying aftermarket extensions. There are several threads covering which are which.

So, should be getting the 2011 vRS this weekend & keen to extend the paddles.. did we find out what's what?

Prefer dark in keeping with the interior (not carbon, metal etc) if poss!

I would really like a pair to give the wheel a spruce up but I'm worried it'll be like my wiper fiasco, order one, wait for delivery... turns out to be wrong, send it back, order another, wait again... possibly wrong again.

Some of them look really badass too.

EDIT: Got some snaps of my paddles which is a 2013 model which show the 3 ribs.

So I'm assuming that means all the paddle extenders that have the 3 rib indents on the inside will fit... unless they have different 'ribbed' models of shifters?

only issue I had was with the wheel at certain angles you weren't able to use the water jets as when you pulled the stalk it caught the extension, this was totally fine 90% of the time only happen if turning and wanting to use the washer jets, I lived with it as the paddle were much better with the extentions
