New Arch Liners & Mud flaps

Recommended Posts

Is it possible to still get these through the dealership for a Mk1?

I'm after a set of new Front & Rear Arch Liners and Mud flaps.

If they are.. don't suppose anyone has the part numbers!

Cheers folks.

Yeah all available, but they don't list rear mudflaps to fit a VRS,as the bumper needs cutting slightly to get them on.

TPS is probably the best place to get them from :)

IIRC recently someone said on here arch liners are knocking on £40 each though!

So just bog standard Mk1 flaps will do? When I went for my warranty assessment on the paint work they were playing havoc that the little flaps on the bottom of the arch-liners that deflect stones and debris weren't all intact - there's a couple splits.

They also asked why I'd removed the mudflaps.. I said I wasn't aware they left the factory with mudflaps and if so I hadn't removed them!

So gonna supply flaps and Liners for them to fit when it goes in for its work.

TPS in Shrewsbury serve the public don't they?

Yeah TPS do.

And yeah just ask for rear flaps for a mk1,they will go off your reg plate and say VAG don't list any to fit otherwise ;)

You need to trim down the lower part of bumper, the extension only fitted to the VRS,with a Stanley knife.

Easy enough to do,just watch your fingers if you slip! :D

As Kev has said the arch liners aren't cheap, I priced them up about £38 each so a very expensive job to replace the full set
