A Great all rounder

The Yeti just keeps on showing what its capable of, after day at the Briskoda Track Day at the Bedford Autodrome, the Yeti performed impeccably and surprised a lot of people, heres a few pics of it in action on the 3.6mile GT circuit.

Cant disagree!

I used my previous Yeti (a 1.8Tsi 4x4) as Safety Car on the Aintree circuit for 6 years and it surprised many people with its agility, acceleration and outright speed.

And you can get 36 cones in the boot and still seat 5 people:-

Was great fun but it did understeer pretty badly through the corners. Presumably your improved suspension setup will have helped.

How did your tyres fare ??

Surprisingly they held up very well, a little four wheel drift if you got the entry speed long but great fun

Would stability control not interfere even having been selected 'off'?.

Seems some cars won't let you have much fun.

When I had mine at Bedford, there was one long corner where it was especially frustrating - it would keep the power cut for too long when trying to accelerate out of it, even when you'd regained full traction.

However, being a track novice and in my daily driver - so not wanting to hit any fellow Briskodians - I felt it better to leave stability control enabled!

I'm reliably informed a rear ARB upgrade helps enormously in this respect.

Traction control off all the way and it was great fun, you could,even get a good four wheel drift if you fancied a bit of lunacy
