Is the drivers seat compatible with a Passat?

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know if the Superb Mk2 driver's seat has the same rail fittings as a Passat (either the B6 2005-2011 model or B7 2012-2015, they're basically the same)?

I find the seats in my 2012 Passat shockingly uncomfortable and some of the Superb seats looks much better. I realise the electrics would be different but hopefully an auto electrician can rewire the seat...

If anyone fancies measuring the distance between the mounting bolts on their seat base that would be very much appreciated

We have both cars. If you have a wider "seat", the MKI seats, should they fit, would be more suitable, as the MKII seats are slightly narrower and the side bolsters are much higher too.
