Hi,

 

I've just returned from my Skoda dealer (White Dove Skoda, Cardiff)

and there's a Superb 2.0 TSI  220PS  SE-l Executive 5dr DSG on order :clap:

 

Had a great test drive of a 220PS before I ordered and I was absolutely blown away

by it.

The dealer has quoted 8 to 10 weeks delivery. I thought I'd be waiting a lot longer, so I'm

chuffed as beans.

 

Car is:

Superb 2.0  220PS Se-l Executive 5dr DSG

Metallic Business Grey

Front & Rear parking Sensors

DSG Paddles

Colour Maxi Dot Trip Computer

Black Leather

18" Pegasus Alloys

Front & Rear Floor Mats

 

Can't wait!!

Would suggest adding spare wheel as well.

Your car looks great r08shaw. Just like I've been dreaming about. 

i was worried about the colour having not seen it in the flesh. Only reference I had was the car on the cover of the brochure which looked more light blue than grey. When I saw it on pick-up day I loved it!

 

Just under 4k miles in and it's great. Heading off to France soon for our first long trip and we're all looking forward to it. So much more room that our prev C Class estate. AND more toys!!

Yes, I've only seen it in the brochures too. Glad to here that it's as nice as I hoped.

 

Welcome to the 220 club! They're fantastic engines, you'll love it. You made a wise decision adding the paddles and colour maxidot, enjoy it!   :thumbup:

Congratulations on the order!  Lovely spec too and hopefully the dealer isn't too far off with the lead time which is pretty good

Thanks for that. I hope so too. The saleswoman at the dealership was quite confident, so here's hoping.

I have ordered a 2.0 220 estate L&K with a few toys in Pacific Blue.  The order went in on 11 July and my initial build week is 25 September, which I reckon means I get to start playing in mid to late October.  Like you cant wait!  Excited doesn't come close :sun:

Good choice! For an engine that Skoda predicted to sell in single figures, there don't half seem to be a lot of 2.0 TSI owners on here... :D

Yep, it's only been a few days but I'm trying not to phone the dealer to see how it's coming along.

Hello!

 

I ordered my TSI (280) Estate LK, sunroof and some extras on the 12th of june and was then it would be built this week (week 31). This is still not confirmed. Does this mean that there is a delay to be expected?

My car proved to be ordered on the 13th of june and was built on the 11th of August. That indicates a possible lead time of less than 12 weeks. I´m quite happy with that.

(Estate 280psi, L&K, Laser White, black ventilated leather, sunroof, 19" Phoenix, and most of the other extras)

Well!

 

I've been following all your fantastic posts guys, their really spot on.

 

Anyway....

 

I gave SUK a bell today, just to see how things are going. As I said in my OP, I ordered the car on 27th of July (week 30) and was told that it would be here in 8 to 10 weeks. Joy  :dance:

The very nice lady at SUK politely informed me that the car will be built on week 40 (October 2nd to 8th) and that it should be here 6 to 8 weeks after that :thumbdown:

So now it's gone to about 16 weeks from my ordering.

When I told the very nice lady at SUK  about the dealer's estimate, she almost choked on her afternoon cuppa.

 

So, a long wait ensues.
