Jungle Green Paint Code

Recommended Posts

Guys I'm after the paint code for the Yeti , I've located the label under the spare wheel in the boot and it says LF6X-L2L2 . Could you tell me which part of this is the paint code , first part , second part , or the whole lot together ?

Thanks .

On my genuine (Skoda Dealer) Jungle Green Paint Kit it has the longer number on the box. There is another number which I imagine is the Skoda part number which I can give you if you want it.

Not sure its available - A good body repair shop will match the paint exactly and depending on how much you want to spray, this might be your best choice for a good finish. I have never found that spray cans give a great result and your car is only two years old. I had a small dink in the front wing from a door being opened on it and this couldn't be fixed by chips away so got a local body shop to do it. Fantastic finish and totally invisible at all angles. Not cheap, but worth it to keep the resale value.

Thanks Dave , I don't need any paintwork doing on the car , I'm just going to do the mirror covers to see what they look like painted the same colour as the car , I'm not too keen on the silver finish.

Take yourself and the paint code (and the car if possible) up to http://www.johndaveypaints.co.uk/ in Darlington. They'll mix you a can of spray paint from the code and also compare with a swatch pack to exactly match the cars colour. I used them for a fuel filler on my old Altea a few years ago.

Just for info really , I was passing Halfords today so I thought I'd pop in and see if they could mix this for me . And after 15 minutes or so looking on his computer and searching through his colour books the answer was an unfortunate NO

That's useful - thanks.  Were you happy with the quality?

Definitely , I've only sprayed and lacquered a test piece so far , but the colour match is spot on  :sun:
