Not a forum problem but PB

I'm having issue's with Photobucket.

Has anyone else had any issue's.

 

I keep getting logged out.

So many advert pop up's.

Upload's fail's,stay's at 90%

Tried using Adblock to no avail.

Cleared cache and cookies ect ect.

 

Have they been hacked?

It's been that way for years, it's how they make their money. I stopped using it ages ago.

Yeah, same here, the ads are very intrusive but that's how they make their money as mentioned above ^ .  I was uploading a pic a couple of days ago via PB for this forum and it failed three times.  Its getting more and more clunky and probably not the best option anymore.

I used it yesterday no problem.uploaded 3 pic's.missed one and not a chance.

 

I have had this account for 6-7 years probably with no issue's.

 

What is everyone switching to?

 

As you can imagine i have a lot of picture's on there too.Thousand's easily.

 

Can you not just make a new account?

Downloaded 471 PB pictures to Dropbox today, quite quick and painless really, which was a nice surprise. I like Dropbox so much I even pay for the 'big' version.

Yep, dead easy. You have a folder called "public folder". Anything you put into it, you just right-click on, and one of the options is "copy public link". Paste that into the field you get when you click the forum 'picture' icon. Job done.

Have you changed your Dropbox password in the last 4 years??

 

It seems a 4 year old database containing passwords was leaked, not sure when, but DB management are recommending a PW change if you havent done it in a while.

Don't think I was using it 4 years ago, but I'll change it anyway, ta.

 

Or maybe not... first two results from a Google search of 'dropbox hack' suggest it wasn't?  Where's your info from GG?

 

This  article suggests it was other places that were hacked, and 'cross-pollination' of passwords led to some DB accounts being accessible as a result; which is not really DB's fault?
