Considering a Octavia Estate Greenline III

I have a very long commute (approx 28k miles per year), so I'm looking for a super-economical estate.  I've really enjoyed having my current Leon mk2 Ecomotive (1.6 CR, EU5), and I think the Octavia is actually slightly lighter despite the bigger size.  It also comes with an EU6 version of the 1.6 CR, producing 110PS (vs 105PS for my current one)... so if anything, should be a bit nippier I think.

I'd be buying used, but probably a 'nearly-new' specimen.

I've got a few questions before I buy please:

  1. Anything I should look to get thrown in by the dealer? (Mats and luggage nets for the boot are what I've thought of so far.)
  2. I have steel wheels for my Leon, which I use in winter - with winter rubber. Do you think the same ones would fit the Greenline III? According to wheel-size.com:
    My Leon is "205/55 R16 6.5Jx16 ET50 5x112"
    The Octavia Greenline III will be "205/55 R16 6.5Jx16 ET46 5x112"
I have no idea how significant 4mm of offset is..? They look identical spec wheels otherwise, to me!
  3. Is the SmartLink option worth getting?  I have an iPhone so the idea of CarPlay appeals.  I use standard Bluetooth with a Brodit Pro-clip to hold the phone in my Leon, and it's worked fine. I understand that SmartLink can be enabled on recent cars by entering a code into the infotainment system?
  4. Any bits and pieces that should be included but might have been lost/mislaid, that I sure ensure the car comes with?
  5. Any general tips on the right questions to ask the dealer please, to make sure I don't end up kicking myself? (I hate buying cars tbh, which is why I've kept my current Leon for so long!)

The specific car I've been looking at is apparently a ex-management car from VAG HQ or something. It's only done a few thousand miles and has a great spec - just what I'm looking for - so is very tempting... :)

Thanks in advance for any advice.
