Hi,

I would like to buy an Octavia III Facelift 2.0 TSI DSG model (mfg. year: 2018). Can anyone tell me the type of the DSG gearbox this car has? Is it DQ200 or not? Wet or dry clutch?

Thank you in advance!

DQ381, 7-speed wet clutch and it's a peach! 👌

DQ381 and a peach, as long as not a lemon.

So the Oil Service Interval is @ 80,000 miles and no Oil Filter.  But they have an OIl Filter just difficult / messy to replace.

Best have an extended warranty to cover a DQ381 as repairs are not cheap and people have had issues.

Hopefully as they are getting to be over 5 years old the DQ381 is not going to be having issues that DQ200's have had over the past 12 years or so.

I intend to get my oil and filter done at 40,000miles, but that will be some time away. I'm only in the mid 14,000s now, and it's heading towards its 4th birthday. I might have to bring that oil change forward to getting it done at 8 years.

Lets us know what price you get quoted for a DQ381 and ask if they are going to change the filter?

I think that is going to be a surprise for some taking in their car.

Maybe a surprise for the Service Desk staff if you book online or get a quote and ask if that is a firm price, a Skoda Service & Maintenance fixed price.
