It's time to think about moving on to something else, newer and slightly more sensible (for now)

I have access to a mechanic, so won't be pulling it to bits myself.

There may be other parts but please note, I am NOT breaking this car. It's being returned to standard to sell.

Porsche NQSBBK set up and Audi S3 rear brake set up.

This comprises a pair of Porsche Boxster front Calipers, repainted and refurbished in the last 18 months, stainless lines, Vag Brem Technic aluminium carriers, Audi S3 rear calipers, plain Brembo high carbon discs (lots of life in them), Mintex M1144 front pads (lots of life in these) and Ferodo DS2500 rear pads (probably about knackered). Paint is reasonable. They have a couple of chips on the edges but are in otherwise good shape. Need a clean. The whole set up owe me north of £1k - the calipers adaptors and lines are £260, a pair of front calipers is £200-250 depending on condition, a set of S3 calipers can be £200, the refurb job is £350 (including new seals and bleed nipples) and then add the discs and pads to the top.

I'd like £500 plus your stock brake set up (312 and 288 mm). In fact I've got my original rears so it's not a deal breaker.

BCS 3" turbo back exhaust with 200 cell, 5" cat. These systems flow VERY well and are very well made. The cat is the equivalent of a 3" down pipe but mine has always, always passed emissions with flying colours. Not much else to say about this. No holes, no rust (it's stainless), tips are dirty and it's a straight fit into a mk2 vRS. God knows if they are the same pre/post facelift but maybe someone can confirm.

£450 plus your exhaust plus labour (it cost me £50 to get this on the car based on the same deal).

Superpro Anti Lift Kit. Reduces wheel hop and saves weight - apparently miles better than he Whiteline kit because the latter's bushes have a habit of delaminating. £100

THS intercooler. This goes in the same front mount position as the stock cooler, bit has a bigger core and flows better. This flows well enough for 330 bhp and 400 lbft (and that was quite mild I believe). Probably ripped off from someone else's cooler (APR I think) and of course everyone wants Wagner or Peron coolers now. £260 and your stock FMIC please.

RNS510 Columbus with DAB. If anybody wants to know what version it is, please ask me and tell me where to find it because I've got no idea. You know what these are. It's got DAB and nav and it was the icing on the cake for my car. I've never put any music on the HDD so it's clean. It's also been coded for VIM and crucially, I found the firmware update that means you can switch between Maxidot screens. There was a glitch that meant maxidot would freeze on Nav when in use and you'd have to stop nav and turn the car off.

£475 and your Stream or £425 and a Bolero please.

Globebox MDI. Complete kit with loom. You'll have to cut a hole in the glovebox yourself or swap your glovebox with my pre cut one, not bothered. £100.

7P6 Bluetooth kit. This has been in my car less than 6 weeks and works brilliantly. It's got a loom to combine MDI, AUX and connect to the module along with a mic that was brand new when I bought it. £140.

Kufactec FISCON kit. Works for Bluetooth calls and integrates fully with Bolero, Columbus and all the identical VW kit and displays on pre and post facelift Maxidot. Streams audio via Bluetooth but it's not very good. Complete with loom and mic - £120

Spax RSX Coilovers. These are multit adjustable for height and bounce/rebound. They don't go particularly low, but they're low enough for me and the multi adjustment is useful for track. Been on the car since May. £250 plus your stock suspension (or lowering springs as long as none of it has been to the moon and back).

TF51 VRS. It's the Reg number off the car. It's currently still assigned to the vehicle but it can be removed. Call it £500 including all fees.

H&R front and rear roll bars. These are the bigger of the sets they do - 28/24mm if memory serves me correct. Cost me an eye watering sum. £270 for these. I've still got stock roll bars.

Review cold air induction kit. Considered to be one of the best. This is the powder coated version, not the ceramic, but there is some conjecture over whether the ceramic one makes any difference. I'll also chuck in an R-Tech double walled heat shield. £175 and your airbox/engine cover.

Facelift rear lights, the clear bit has been tinted. Christ knows if they're genuine or Depo reps (I think the latter). £40. Don't need yours in exchange. These use stock lamp holders.

Speedline Marmora 18x8 ET45 wheels. These are quite light weight, all have signs of kerb rash and the tyres are shot. £450.

HPFP fitted with Autotech high pressure internals. These were fitted professionally and have been on the car since it was running APR stage 2. I was still working for Next then so that must be approaching 4 years. Combined with what I think is an RS4 FPRV, they give the fuel pressure needed to run 2+ and above. £240 plus your stock HPFP. I'm going to assume that both pumps will need a cam follower, so bear that in mind.

Now - this last bit is the tricky bit as I just need to check it's ok for me to pull these bits off the car, but on the basis of this, I've got the power bits to go. These comprise a BBT hybrid K03 turbo, S3 injectors and the ECU mapped to suit. Together with the other supporting mods, the car made 330 bhp and 400 lb ft. Other cars running similar hardware have made 360 bhp and 360 lb ft, but mine was left a bit cooler for the torque and also because the EGT couldn't be measured. I need a stock K03, stock injectors and, assuming you'll want the mapped ECU, then I need one back and I'm going to ask for £700 plus those bits.

Once all this has gone, the car will be up for sale. If anybody wants to express an interest in the complete car, but please be aware I'll have an unrealistic value of it because it's worth more to me to spend the time putting it back to standard and then moving it on for £2k

So if anybody wants a 112k mile Mk2 pre-FL vRS, with a lot of power, sorted mods, most of a 12 month MOT, the **** plate (TF51 VRS), a decent sat nav, xenons, auto lights/wipers/mirrors and with everything on that list up there for five grand then just ask. It needs some paint and I've lost one of the keys. Also I think it could benefit from a new charcoal canister and purge valve (N80). I suspect that fuel has gone down the vented line and eventually turned the charcoal to powder. It's otherwise mechanically sound.

Anyone wants the BCS exhaust I can vouch for that. If you search my history you will see it fitted to my car as the test mule for the exhaust. Excellent exhaust and sounds awesome when on boost.

Good luck with the sale.
