Bu99er.

Crater+50mph = FUBAR Tyre and possibly a buckled rim.

My head is full of extremely rude words all jostling for release

Gutted mate, not good. Tyre is bad enough but damaged rim too is awful.

Gutted, but an ideal opportunity to now do something different with the wheels :blush

All cosmetic tweeks for the time being.

OEM mudflaps. You've ALL seen a set of flaps before now I'm sure........ :giggle: :x

They do what they say on the tin, albeit a pain in the posterior to fit.

LED's interior are Osram w5w equivalents fitted to all internal overhead cabin lighting, and red/white marker lights in bottom of door panels.

After attempting, failing and generally getting annoyed with trying to replace halogen bulbs with LED equivalent in the numberplate fixtures, I sourced some very reasonably priced OEM LED licence plate bulb units that are 'plug & play' (almost)

Fitted and coded so no errors on the dash :)

Onto foglights - I've always had 'a bit of a thing' for yellow fogs and with previous cars tried a number of stick on films without any resounding success. Clive NZ100, a fellow Roomster owner recommended these which I used in my Roomster and now the Superb. Circa £13 from eBay

OEM look, but light output is yellow. Difficult to portray in pictures, but you get the idea.

May be getting the Dremel treatment as they foul the folding mirrors slightly

As is standard with any used Skoda Superb the umbrella stashed in the N/S passenger door was missing and knowing it wasn't there irked me!

After checking with Mike (he's in the Briskoda parts thread) to find the item now obsolete from stock, I took to eBay and found an overpriced item from an Audi dealership in Germany. Circa €50 lighter this arrived two days later

Yes, I know, I was had. You'll note the above item is for the 3V Superb not the 3T

The good news for you lovely folks missing their umbrellas is that this item fits the 3T, moreover it can be had for a little over half the price I paid in GBP - no need to thank me. :wall:

To cheer myself up I spent a further £11 on one of these bad boys B)

You know you're getting old when you get excited by a bin for the door pocket..... pretty handy though given its nowt more than a clip on frame that holds a plastic bag.

In quick succession the last 10 days have seen a de-badged tailgate

Have managed to spend some decent time giving the Great White a good spruce up this week. In truth, the first in depth clean in my ownership along with an inspection service @UNIT18

Wheels off gives an opportunity to say.....

"Potholes are bad Mmmmmmkay...."

The rim cracked when being straightened and required welding :crying:
