HOWTO: New Octavia - Headlight Bulb Change

Nice to get a simple picture well explained for a change.  You gave good info and it worked.

The left side headlight unit came out a treat and it was an easy to change the dip bulb.

The 'pull' on the right was hard but there was plenty of room to remove the back cover.

The bulb change was quite easy. Nowhere near as hard as others I have done.

Now we wait for darkness to see if it is better with +120%

I believe the correct method includes removing the front bumper and then the headlights. I think some claim that it's possible without removing the headlight, it'll probably depend how flexible and big your hands are...

great thread does anyone know which bulbs goes in which holes I need to replace my high beam bulbs and side light bulbs and is it H7 for main beam and H1 for high beam?  is there a number for the side light bulbs?
