I got offered £8800 on my FL 59 plate just this wk (Skoda main dealer against a fabia monty) but mine has only done 20K. It's a TSI hatch with heated seats & optical rear parking sensors..........just as a rough guide for your own valuation.

Other than the obvious initial purchase what else is needed to fit as a replacement into a FL vrs octty ?

Absolute superb drivers car, I know Andy well at VTEC DIRECT as that is where mine used to go for it's work. Great mileage & the typhoon puts a huge smile on your face.......especially when in a tunnel !!! If it's 'pirates black' then put it in the advert & try to get some photos in the sun, this will be a huge plus when selling. Good luck with the sale

I've recently fitted an Audi S-line knob myself. When fitting the new knob I've noticed that the round plastic clip used to secure the gaitor is missing & the one from the original Skoda knob is a totally different shape..........anyone know of a suitable alternative ?

Yes they are, but after reading this entire thread I've assumed that the newer, more rounded FL flaps, could not be purchased for both front & rear.............have I got this wrong ? Anyway, still OEM at a good price

Indeed, VTEC is very addictive. The ATR was a real wolf in sheeps clothing, a proper drivers car ! Looking forward to spending some quality time with the VRS - Thanks for the warm welcome.

Morning all Recently purchased a 59 plate Octavia VRS after traded in my A4 avant derv burner & so far very impressed - just need this snow to melt so I can enjoy a decent drive ! Looking forward to exploring this site & hopefully this will be the car that replaces my ATR......which I still miss 3 yrs on.
